Drexel Law Alumni Event @ Drexel Law

On August 18th the Thomas Kline School of Law at Drexel University invited several alumnus, including Bryan Adler, to address their incoming law school class.  Bryan led a discussion about ethics in the legal profession and how to attorneys and prospective attorneys can conduct themselves in an ethical manner.

Birches Happy Hour @ Green Parrot Newtown

On August 17th Bryan Adler attended a networking happy hour hosted by The Birches of Newtown, a personal care home in Newtown, Pennsylvania.  Attendees included other elder care professionals, many of whom the Rothkoff Law Group works closely with.

VDT Experience @ Arden Courts

On August 18th, Amy, Stacey, Kathleen, Misha, Pam and Erica attended the Virtual Dementia Tour offered at Arden Courts in Cherry Hill.  Joe Horwitz, ED at Arden Courts, did a power point presentation while Rachael Lufkin, Business Development Specialist, lead the Virtual Tour.  The participants were outfitted with special glasses, headphones, gloves and shoe inserts in order to fully understand the mental and physical effects of Alzheimer’s Disease.  We were given 4 tasks to perform with no further instruction or reminders.   The participants expressed feelings of anxiety, frustration, fear, and depression after experiencing the Tour.  A true realization of what Alzheimer’s patients experience on a daily basis.

Brookdale Voorhees Burgers @ Brews

On Thursday, August 24, 2017, Jerry Rothkoff, Jacinda Graham, and Janie De Leon-Male attended Brookdale Voorhees’ Burgers and Brews Mix and Mingle Event. It was a great way to reconnect with our long-term care peers and catch up on the latest news in the long-term care community. Thank you Brookdale Voorhees for hosting!

Phillies Tailgate Party @Citizens Bank Park

On Saturday, August 26,  Jane M. Fearn-Zimmer, Esq. and her daughter attended the Citizens Bank Park  Phillies tailgate party hosted by the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Gloucester County Bar Association. All present had a great time relaxing over hoagies, chicken tortillas, and drinks while playing bean bag toss. Afterwards, all were excited to attend the Phillies versus Cubs game.

Cardinal Village Networking Event @ Tony’s Ice Cream and Sweet Shop

On August 30th, the Cardinal Village team invited professional friends to enjoy a nice summertime treat at Tony’s Ice Cream and Sweet Shop in Washington Township.  It was the perfect day for Ice Cream!

On Monday, August 14, 2017, our geriatric care coordination department welcomed Jared Willmann, vice president of Byron Home, as the keynote speaker. Jared discussed how you can downsize smoothly and efficiently by breaking the process into manageable pieces. The tips that Jared shared was appreciated by all of the attendees!

On August 14 and 16, 2017, Jane M. Kara is the Outreach Coordinator with the Rothkoff Law Group, and elder care law firm. Kara brings over 15 years of experience working with the elderly. Kara has the ability to build relationships with area long-term care providers is critical in ensuring that our clients are made aware of the many resources that are available to them. Kara graduated from the York College of Pennsylvania. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, taking vacations, scuba diving, and skiing. She is also an active volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association.
