New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education Awards Reception @ NJ Law Center

On December 4th, Jane M. Fearn-Zimmer. Esq was invited to attend the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s Awards Reception in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Ms. Fearn-Zimmer received awards for organizing the annual elder law retreat held in Long Branch, New Jersey in April 2017 and presenting at the New Jersey State Bar Conference in May 2017 in Atlantic City.

Gloucester County Networking Connections Holiday Party @ Terra Nova

On December 6th, Jerry Rothkoff Esq., Janie De Leon-Male, and Danielle Salley attended the Gloucester County Networking Connections holiday party at Terra Nova restaurant in Sewell, NJ. Not only did they spend time catching up with colleagues, but the networking group as a whole donated much of the organization’s proceeds to six local non-profits making an impact on our local community.


Holiday Open House @ Symphony Manor

On December 6th, Bryan Adler Esq., CELA attended a holiday open house at Symphony Manor in Feasterville.  Attendees included other elder care professionals.  Symphony Manor treated guests to hot chocolate and tarot card reading.

Paint & Sip w/ Artis Senior Living Princeton @ Pinot’s Palette Princeton

On December 6th, Jennifer Cooley attended a Paint & Sip event at Pinot’s Palette Princeton hosted by Artis Senior Living in Princeton, allowing participants to paint “All is Calm”, a snow-covered tree on a cold crisp night, while sipping wine and enjoying a delicious spread. Artis staff announced their upcoming Grand Opening Event on Thursday January 18th 2018 from 3-6pm.

Gloucester County Bar Association’s Women in Law Committee Lunch Meeting @ Gia Nina’s

On December 7th, Jane M. Fearn-Zimmer, Esq. attended a luncheon at Gia Nina’s in Woodbury, New Jersey hosted by the Women in Law Committee of the Gloucester County Bar Association. The committee will focus on educational events and will be implementing a program to introduce upper elementary and high school students to the judicial system. The program is modeled on the One Judge One School program implemented by Atlantic County, New Jersey, in which a school is paired with a judge and several attorneys who organize educational events to introduce the students to the judiciary in a positive manner.

Cardinal Village Holiday Party @ Texas Roadhouse

On December 7th, Kara Lee attended the Cardinal Village Annual Holiday Party at Texas Roadhouse. Everyone was in a festive mood as we enjoyed drinks and appetizers with fellow South Jersey professionals. Another fabulous event hosted by Cardinal Village!

New Jersey State Bar Association’s Elder and Disability Law Section Holiday Party & Ethics Continuing Legal Education Seminar @ NJ  Law Center 

On December 11th, Jane M. Fearn-Zimmer, Esq. traveled to New Brunswick, New Jersey and attended the holiday social of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Elder and Disability Law Section and an Ethics Continuing Legal Education seminar.  The ethics training covered the ethical rules for representing individuals with dementia and other forms of diminished capacity.

Wells Fargo Advisors Holiday Party @ Pitman Inn

On December 14th, Jane M. Fearn-Zimmer, Esq. traveled to the Pitman Inn, in Pitman, New Jersey to attend a holiday party hosted by Wells Fargo Advisors.  She dined with financial advisors from the Lawrenceville and Flemington branches of Wells Fargo Advisors in the historic inn.

Burlington County Bar Association’s Holiday Cheer Party @ Medford Village Country Club

On December 21st, Jane M. Fearn-Zimmer, Esq. attended the Burlington County Bar Associations’ Holiday Cheer Party, at the Medford Village Country Club.   She joined her colleagues from Burlington County for the holiday celebration.

Capacity, Competency, and Ethical Interventions CEU Seminar w. Visiting Angels @ Devry University

On December 14th, in conjunction with Visiting Angels of Montgomery County, Bryan Adler Esq., CELA presented a continuing education seminar on Capacity, Competency and Ethical Interventions.  Attendees included social workers, geriatric care managers, and other elder care professionals.

Kara is the Outreach Coordinator with the Rothkoff Law Group, and elder care law firm. Kara brings over 15 years of experience working with the elderly. Kara has the ability to build relationships with area long-term care providers is critical in ensuring that our clients are made aware of the many resources that are available to them. Kara graduated from the York College of Pennsylvania. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, taking vacations, scuba diving, and skiing. She is also an active volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association.
