Medbrige Unit Tour @ ManorCare Voorhees
On February 1st ManorCare Voorhees invited local professionals to tour their new Medbirdge Unit. Kara Lee graciously accepted the offer to learn more about this unique concept in the skilled nursing community. All attendees were given a beautiful Medbridge bag and were guided to different locations throughout the new unit where they had the opportunity to obtain special prizes to fill their bags. While learning about Medbridge we were also able to meet and talk with professionals from other ManorCare resources such as memory care, hospice, and outpatient.
Paint Night @ Wesley Enhanced Living in Burholme
On February 1st Kathleen Magee attended a paint night at Wesley Enhanced Living in Burholme. She and a handful of other professional partners showed off their artistic skills by painting a wine glass. Following the painting lesson, the staff of the personal care community offered a tour of their beautiful community.
Valentines’s Day Breakfast @ Brookdale Voorhees
On February 14th Brookdale Voorhees hosted another wonderful Valentine’s Day breakfast. The made to order omelets and waffles were a hit. Who can resist heart shaped pancakes! Once again the Brookdale team packed the room with local professionals all wearing red. Valentine gifts and treats were given to all attendees.
Caring Connections of Middlesex County Meeting @ Brookdale Monroe
On February 15th Manon Adcock attended a morning networking meeting at Brookdale Monroe which was an intimate group of familiar and new faces. Among these faces were home care agencies, elder attorneys, and other ancillary senior services.
Anniversary Party @ Artis Huntingdon Valley
On February 22nd Kathleen Magee and Kara Lee celebrated Artis Huntingdon Valley’s one-year anniversary at a beautiful event at Huntingdon Valley Country Club. The team of Artis offered celebratory cocktails and delicious hors d’oeuvres to celebrate their successful first year offering a wonderful memory care model in their Montgomery County community.
Dine & Dash @ Care One Hamilton
On February 22nd Care One Hamilton hosted a Dine & Dash. It was hosted by their Director of Marketing, Jen Ennis, who provided wine, tours, and dinner to go for 2 for professionals. The DON, Juvy Gonzales, was available to answer questions from attendees.

CEU Seminar “Elder Law Hot Topics: What’s New With Medicare, Medicaid, and Veterans” @ Lions Gate
On February 8th Bryan Adler presented a CEU Seminar about “Elder Law Topics: What’s New With Medicare, Medicaid and Veterans” at Lions Gate. The CEU was well attended, despite being scheduled the same day as the Eagles Parade! Bryan kept the attendees very engaged, and there was much interaction between him and the crowd.
CEU Seminar “Capacity, Competency and Ethical Interventions” @ Abramson Center
On February 13th Bryan Adler presented a CEU seminar “Capacity, Competency and Ethical Interventions” to a full house of local PA professionals at the Abramson Center. This was the first of four in the Rothkoff focus on the professional series at this location. We are so excited to have the Abramson Center as a host for 2018!
CEU Seminar “Capacity, Competency, and Ethical Interventions” @ Solana Doylestown
On February 21st Bryan Adler presented a CEU seminar “Capacity Competency and Ethical Interventions” at The Solana, a beautiful senior living residence in Doylestown. The Solana provided the attendees with a beautiful breakfast in one of their dining rooms prior to the event. There were over 25 people in attendance. The topic of the CEU made for interesting conversation, as well as interesting questions. As usual, Mr. Adler’s wit and charm added to the performance.

On February 28th Jerry Rothkoff presented a CEU Seminar “Capacity, Competency and Ethical Interventions” at Absecon Manor to 30 South Jersey LTC professionals. This was our first seminar at this location. There were plenty of new faces which gave us the opportunity to learn more about services in the Atlantic / Cape May County areas. Absecon Manor is a beautiful skilled nursing community and a wonderful host.
