Open House @ CareOne Hamilton 

On July 11th Kara Lee attended an open house at CareOne Hamilton.  The CareOne team showcased their beautiful new courtyard and newly renovated first floor.  Everyone was excited to tour the community and learn about some unique services provided at CareOne Hamilton.  After the tour,  guests were invited to attend a BBQ style happy hour in the courtyard.

Wine Tasting @ Glendale Uptown Home

On July 12th Kathleen Magee joined our professional partners and the team of Glendale Uptown Home for a wine tasting event.  The long-term care facility recently built an on-site dialysis unit, so the event also served as an open house to tour the community and meet new staff members.

Open House @ Harmony Place

On July 13th Kathleen Magee visited Harmony Place Assisted Living to meet the new Marketing Director, Kelly Smith.  Kelly and other staff members toured the guests around the community. The chef for the assisted living served a delicious pasta meal to all the guests.

Rothkoff NJ Happy Hour @ Filomena

Our 3rd 2017 NJ happy hour was a success!  On July 13th Rothkoff Law Group hosted its third NJ happy hour of 2017 at Filomena in Deptford.  As always, the food was excellent and the company was even better.

Chef Cookoff @ Solana Doylestown 

On July 17th Kathleen Magee and Bryan Adler attended the Chef Cookout hosted by The Solana of Doylestown.  Two chefs offered a four-course meal that shared one common ingredient in all of the options: corn.  The residents and the staff had a “Corn Shucking Contest” prior to the event to have the corn ready for the chef’s creations.

Open House @ Bridges at Warwick

On July 19th Kara Lee attended The Bridges at Warwick summer open house.  As Always, the Bridges at Warwick team were gracious hosts.  We enjoyed refreshing sangria and mouth watering appetizers.   A nice evening to kick back and relax!

Networking Event @ Woodbourne Place

On July 20th Kara Lee attended a Networking event at Woodbourne Place flip flops and lemon drops was the theme of this party.  It was one of the hottest days of the summer but the Woodbourne Place team kept everyone cool with summertime theme drinks and treats.

5 Year Anniversary Party @ Spring Hills

On July 20th Janie De Leon-Male, Director of Care Coordination, and Leo, her seven-year old son, attend Spring Hills Assisted Living’s 5th Year Anniversary. It was a semi-formal event, complete with a red carpet entrance, and a visit by Mayor Chuck Kahn, of Cherry Hill. As a member of the long-term care community, we are proud to support other long-term care providers and their milestones!

Jimmy Buffet Happy Hour @ Washington Township Senior Living

On July 27th Washington Township Senior Living sent us on a mini vacation to Margaritaville, what a nice way to end the day!  This Jimmy Buffet inspired event was complete with a deejay spinning popular summertime hits, games, food, prizes and much more.

Rothkoff Caregiver Support Group – RLG Cherry Hill Office

On July 10th Janie De Leon-Male and Jennifer Cooley, two of our Geriatric Care Coordinators, and Jerry Rothkoff, managing attorney, facilitated July’s Caregiver Support Group in our Cherry Hill office, with guest speaker, Jodi Lewis-Smith, president and owner of CarePatrol. Ms. Smith talked about the importance of putting together a long-term care plan, and partnering with others to help support you.

“Ethics of End of Life Care” CEU Seminar @ Magee Acute Rehab 

 On July 17th Kathleen Magee accompanied Bryan Adler as he presented “The Ethics of End of Life Care” to the case management team of Magee Acute Rehabilitation.  The Continuing Education event was co-hosted by Barclays Rehabilitation and Health Care Center who ordered a delicious spread from Maggiano’s Italian Restaurant for the participants.

About Kara

Kara is the Outreach Coordinator with the Rothkoff Law Group, and elder care law firm. Kara brings over 15 years of experience working with the elderly. Kara has the ability to build relationships with area long-term care providers is critical in ensuring that our clients are made aware of the many resources that are available to them. Kara graduated from the York College of Pennsylvania. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, taking vacations, scuba diving, and skiing. She is also an active volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association.
