In these uncertain times, Rothkoff Law Group recognizes that the need for healthcare advocacy has become paramount. Our professional partners continue to advocate and set expectations for families and residents. Their need for accurate information, sharing best practices, and supporting one another has never been greater than during this fluid situation.

Due to this need, on Thursday, April 30, 2020, Rothkoff Law Group sponsored a virtual panel on COVID-19 healthcare issues.  Jerry Rothkoff moderated a panel which consisted of Jeffrey DeFrehn, of Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association, Jennifer Hertzog, of Marquis Health Services, Christina M. Renna, of Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey, Mary Underwood, of Artis Senior Living, and Jill Viggiano, of Inspira Health Network LIFE.

Jeff Defrehn and Jill Viggiano, discussed the issues and challenges due to COVID-9 faced by home care agencies and those rendering services to those in the community.  Jennifer Hertzog and Mary Underwood addressed issues related to assisted living and nursing home communities, emphasizing the stress faced by staff, residents, and their families.  Christina Renna focused on the particular challenges faced by the business community.

All panelists agreed the current pandemic has brought out the good in people which will provide hope for everyone in the future.
