Dear Friend of the Firm:
As we come to the end of a meaningful and productive year, we want to thank you for your continued trust in our Elder Care Law Firm. We value our relationship with each of you and look forward to an even better 2025. I want to take a few moments to reflect on the past year and update you on Rothkoff Law Group.
Over the past year, we have engaged in the following activities and firm engagement:
We added two additional elder care law attorneys this year. In January, we welcomed Ryan Krocker to our office. Ryan gained several years of experience in estate planning, estate administration, and Medicaid planning, working for an estate planning and elder law firm in central New Jersey before joining Rothkoff Law Group. We also welcomed attorney Jennifer Hruslinski. Jennifer spent more than twelve years advocating for the rights of elders at a Philadelphia-based non-profit agency before joining our firm.
Also, in 2024, we added three additional geriatric social workers, Lisa Hughey, Sharon Major, and Melina Mordas, to help build on our advocacy efforts for older adults in both NJ and PA. We are proud to have eight full-time elder care coordinators to help families navigate the long-term care process for their loved ones.
On October 16, 2024, we held our seventh annual Rothkoff Law Group Elder Care Symposium. Over 250 people attended the annual event at Live Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia. The theme for the Symposium was “Innovations in Elder Care,” examining how technology can improve the care for older adults. We look forward to our 2025 Symposium.
On November 21, 2024, I was honored to receive the Artz Philadelphia Community Catalyst Award in recognition of service to the Artz Philadelphia Board and the Philadelphia area community to help enhance the lives of those living with dementia and their care partners. This award Award recognizes dedication to building community through the arts, generosity of spirit and action, and work towards a world in which creative community brings people together in mutual respect and understanding. This is an award that I am moved and humbled to have received.
We continued with our in-person and virtual education initiatives for both consumers and professionals. You may review all our updated 2025 professional and consumer events here and all resources here. Please contact us if you would be interested in having one of the Rothkoff team members present.
We will continue to be the leader in legal and care advocacy and education in Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We will persist in investing in educational opportunities for our entire Rothkoff team to stay up to date on the ever-changing elder care landscape. In 2025, we will be adding additional service offerings for our clients and consumers, such as dementia training programs and additional end-of-life support. I want to thank our dedicated team for their hard work and efforts throughout the year.
From all of us at Rothkoff Law Group, we are so deeply grateful to our clients, their loved ones, and partners for their confidence in our firm. We wish you and your families a New Year filled with optimism for the future, good health, joy, and prosperity.
Best wishes,
Jerold E. Rothkoff
