Kelsey Gilligan

Kelsey Gilligan joined Rothkoff Law Group in 2023 as an Executive Legal Assistant, with seven years of experience in sub-acute rehabilitation and long-term care settings.

Kelsey started her career in Elder Care initially in Quality Experience: focusing on patient experience in healthcare and Nursing Homes. Then transitioning to positions within the Business and Admissions offices; assisting patients and families navigate the transition from hospital to post-acute settings; the utilization of benefits through Medicare and Medicaid, and the financial and clinical requirements for obtaining benefits and services in the community.

Kelsey received her bachelors’ degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, graduating with a Dual degree in History and IGS-Human Rights and a minor in Political Science. She dedicated her Capstone Project to an Internship with Center for New North Carolinians – transitioning and assimilating refugees and their families from South Sudan, Myanmar and the Middle East with into American life.

Kelsey lives in Somerdale with her boyfriend and daughter, and their blended family of three dogs. She enjoys spending her time in the garden, enjoying live music, and spending time with her friends and family.
