Dear Friend of the Firm:

As we end a meaningful and productive year, we want to thank you for your continued trust in our elder care law firm. We value our relationship with each of you and look forward to an even better 2023. I would like to take a few moments to reflect on the past year and update you on Rothkoff Law Group.

Over the past year, we have engaged in the following activities and firm engagement:

  • In October, we rolled out a new resource for our clients and families of aging loved ones: our new book, A Life Care Plan, co-authored between Rothkoff Law Group and Takacs McGinnis Elder Care Law. In this guidebook, you will find answers to complicated topics like Medicaid planning, asset protection planning, Medicare coverage, and more in simplified terms that are easy to understand.   • We continued with our virtual communication and education initiatives. We continue to be able to offer more online education to both consumers and professionals, combined with in-person seminars.   • On October 20, 2022, we held our Fifth Annual Rothkoff Law Group Elder Care Symposium. The Symposium was held virtually for the third year. The theme for the Symposium was “Innovations in Elder Care.” We examined how advances in technology can benefit older adults. The keynote presentation was given by Keren Etkin, M.A. Gerontology, who is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. We intend to be able to offer a hybrid Symposium in 2023. More details to come.
  • We once again partnered with area long-term care communities to create the 2023 Rothkoff Law Group Create-a-Calendar, which features artwork created by New Jersey and Pennsylvania senior care community residents and staff. Thank you to all our long-term care community partners and their residents for their valuable contributions to the 2023 Rothkoff Law Group calendar. You can request your copy here.

We will continue to strive to be the leader in legal and care advocacy and education in Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We continue to invest in educational opportunities for our entire Rothkoff team to stay up to date on the ever-changing elder care landscape. I want to thank our dedicated team for their hard work and efforts all through the year.
