State of the Firm

Dear Friend of the Firm:

As we come to the end of a meaningful and productive year, we want to thank you for your continued trust in our Elder Care Law Firm. We value our relationship with each of you, and we look forward to an even better 2026. I would like to take a few moments to reflect on the past year and update you on Rothkoff Law Group.

In our 25th year of operation, we have engaged in the following activities and firm engagement:

We added an additional service offering – dementia training through our dementia specialist, Jennifer Riggs.
We opened our ninth office, and fourth in Pennsylvania, located in Malvern, PA, to serve our increasing client base in the Western suburbs of Philadelphia.

In October 2025, we held our eighth annual Rothkoff Law Group Elder Care Symposium. Over 250 people attended the annual event at Live Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia. The theme for the Symposium was “Trailblazers of the Industry,” with a specific emphasis on mental health for older adults. We look forward to our 2026 Symposium.
With our now nine geriatric social workers, dementia specialist, two death doulas, Certified Home Optimization Specialist, along with our elder care law attorneys, we continue to advocate for older adults throughout Eastern PA & NJ.

We continued with our in-person and virtual education initiatives for both consumers and professionals. You may review all our updated 2026 professional and consumer events here, along with all resources here. Please contact us if you would be interested in having one of the Rothkoff team members present.

We will continue to strive to be the leader in legal and care advocacy and education in Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We also continue to invest in educational opportunities for our entire Rothkoff team in order to stay up to date on the ever-changing elder care landscape. I want to thank our dedicated team for their hard work and efforts throughout the year.

Jerold Rothkoff, a practicing New Jersey and Pennsylvania attorney, is the Principal of the Rothkoff Law Group, an elder care law firm. Jerry dedicates his practice to serving clients in the areas of life care planning, long-term care planning, Medicaid & VA benefits, and advocacy for the elderly and disabled. He is past President of the NJ Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, former chair of the elder law section of the NJ State Bar Association, and past President of the Life Care Planning Law Firm Association. Jerry continues to be an outspoken advocate for the rights of the elderly and disabled. He writes for and gives presentations regularly to attorneys and other professionals about legal issues related to seniors and those with disabilities. Jerry’s community activities include the Twilight Wish Foundation, the Delaware Valley Stroke Council, the Alzheimer’s Association, as well as numerous other advocacy groups. When not in the office, Jerry spends time with his wife, Erica, and their five children, eighteen-year old identical twin girls, Liza and Julia, fifteen-year old fraternal twin boys, Evan and Gregory, and six-year old Aitan.
