Roxane Crowley joined the Rothkoff team in November 2017 from Philadelphia VIP, a public interest law firm, where she was a Supervising Attorney. Roxane’s legal career began at SeniorLAW Center in Philadelphia as an Independence Foundation Fellow, then a Borchard Foundation Fellow. Her fellowships were dedicated to providing legal assistance to chronically and terminally ill seniors and to educating health care providers about this population’s legal needs. At Philadelphia VIP, Roxane mentored VIP’s volunteer attorneys in the areas of quiet title and estate planning and administration.
Roxane has enjoyed working with seniors since she was a teen when she began volunteering at a local nursing home. She continued volunteering at nursing homes in college and was also trained as a hospice volunteer. Prior to attending law school, Roxane worked as a research coordinator for a physician at the University of Pennsylvania where her projects focused on end-of-care decision making and access to hospice services.
Roxane received a B.A., magna cum laude, in Philosophy from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. She is a graduate of Temple University, Beasley School of Law. Roxane lives with her husband, twin sons, and “fur” babies in Camden County New Jersey.
